Nippon Sanso Matheson in Pekin, IL is hiring Manufacturing Team Members for a 12-hour rotating shift (7AM–7PM) with every-other-weekend and holidays. Starting wage is $20.00/hour with a $2.00 night shift differential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in manufacturing environment.
• Food safety experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand 12 hours in non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Pack and wrap ice to customer specs.
• Shovel and package dry ice during manufacturing; label, strap and stage dry ice for loading.
• Clean and sanitize large industrial containers; safe forklift operation.
• Move between departments as directed by supervisor and leads.

MANUFACTURINGTEAM MEMBER - Pekin, IL

Nippon Sanso Matheson is lookingfor Team Members for our manufacturing plant in Pekin, IL. Our TeamMembers are responsible for providing support to achieve optimal levels ofsafety, quality and productivity. This position is a 12 hour shift fromeither 7AM-7PM working every other weekend and scheduledholidays. **NEW HIGHER WAGES** Starting Wage: $20.00/hour with a$2.00 Night Shift Differential.

• Packing andwrapping ice to customer specifics
• Shoveling andpackaging dry ice during the manufacturing process - Labeling, strapping, andstaging of dry ice for loading
• Cleaning and sanitizing large industrial containers
• Safe forklift operation
• Will be required to move from one department to another or to be moved to andfrom positions/stations as directed by supervisor and leads.

• Able tofrequently/continually lift 30lbs while twisting, reaching and bending
• Able to stand for a 12-hour shift in non-climate-controlled environment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience required/ Preferred 1-3 years Desired Food safety experience
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to Speak UP and do what is right, andhave the ability to watch out for others and help instead of watch others work.Ability to follow directions, to be at work on time, understand and follow safework practices.
