Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson in Pekin, IL is seeking Manufacturing Team Members for our Pekin plant. Team Members support safety, quality and productivity on a 12-hour shift 7 AM–7 PM, with every other weekend and holidays; starting wage $20.00/hour plus $2.00 night shift differential.

Responsibilities include packing, ice handling, labeling, loading prep, forklift operation, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Experience and reliability in manufacturing or similar environments.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain quality.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, stand for long periods and lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pack and wrap ice to customer specs.
• Shovel and package dry ice during production.
• Label, strap and stage dry ice for loading.
• Clean and sanitize large industrial containers.
• Operate forklift safely and support other departments as directed.

MANUFACTURINGTEAM MEMBER - Pekin, IL Nippon Sanso Mathesonis lookingforTeam Members for our manufacturing plant in Pekin, IL. Our TeamMembers are responsible for providing support to achieve optimal levels ofsafety, quality and productivity. This position is a 12 hour shift fromeither 7AM-7PM working every other weekend and scheduledholidays. **NEW HIGHER WAGES** Starting Wage: $20.00/hour with a$2.00 Night Shift Differential.

• Packing andwrapping ice to customer specifics
• Shoveling andpackaging dry ice during the manufacturing process - Labeling, strapping, andstaging of dry ice for loading
• Cleaning and sanitizing large industrial containers
• Safe forklift operation
• Will be required to move from one department to another or to be moved to andfrom positions/stations as directed by supervisor and leads.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience required/ Preferred 1-3 years Desired Food safety experience
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to Speak UP and do what is right, andhave the ability to watch out for others and help instead of watch others work.Ability to follow directions, to be at work on time, understand and follow safework practices.
