Job summary

CompX National in Mauldin, SC is seeking a Laser Machine Operator to join our team. You will set up, adjust and operate laser cutting equipment, read prints, edit programs per job order, and ensure quality and production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate Laser cutting machine
• Edit programs per job order
• Read and interpret prints and work instructions
• Load and unload raw materials and finished components safely and efficiently
• Monitor machine operation to ensure quality, accuracy, and production efficiency
• Measure and verify dimensions using various tools as required
• Check all parts to ensure they are within tolerance of company standards
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn out components.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
• Follow quality procedures and processes
• Perform other machining jobs if necessary

Shift: Second

Pay: $21.43 - $27.27 DOE

Shift Premium: $2.50
