Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Team Member Dining Room Supervisor to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. If you are an experienced cook who enjoys a fast-paced environment, you will help deliver quality service and food to guests while inspiring experiences for visitors.

This role runs for the 2027 Spring/Summer season. We offer weekly pay, employee discounts, flexible schedules (32–40 hours per week), housing and meal

Qualifications

• Two years' experience as Lead Line Cook or Kitchen Supervisor or Catering Cook.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a leadership capacity.
• Detail-oriented with basic math to follow recipes and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly dining room menus from personal or established recipes.
• Prepare and serve meals for team members following detailed recipes and proper techniques.
• Supervise food prep to maintain quality, sanitation and portion sizes.
• Ensure kitchen equipment runs efficiently and supervise cleanliness of walk-ins and freezers.
• Maintain food cost within parameters set by culinary leadership.
• Place inventory orders in Sysco and Birchstreet.

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Team Member Dining Room Supervisor to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. Pay

$20.25 - $21.75 / hour

What will you do?

• Create weekly dining room menus from personal or established recipes
• Prepare and serve meals for team members by following detailed recipes and cooking instructions while using proper techniques and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
• Supervise food prep, maintaining quality, presentation, and sanitation standards, while verifying portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures are maintained
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is working efficiently, supervising team members with cleaning and food production in their areas, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers, as well as supervising proper breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating, and storage of food
• Actively maintain food cost within parameters set by culinary leadership
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines

• Place inventory orders in Sysco and Birchstreet
• Other duties as assigned

More about you

• Minimum two years' experience as a Lead Line Cook, or Kitchen Supervisor, or Catering Cook
• Ability to effectively communicate with others in a leadership capacity
• Attentive and detail-oriented with basic math skills to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations

Physical requirements

• Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs
• Standing, walking, bending for the duration of the shift, occasionally pushing and pulling to move equipment, mops, and brooms
• Manual dexterity sufficient to chop, mix, blend, and whip a variety of foods and liquids
• Frequently required to reach up to 6-7 feet, twist at waist, bending and squatting
• Exposed to variable temperatures and damp environment
