Job summary

Popeyes is seeking a Cook - Team Member to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You will prepare and cook menu items to Popeyes standards, follow recipes, and maintain clean, safe workstations. You will help manage kitchen flow during peak times and ensure each guest receives high-quality, flavorful meals.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months in QSR, can work evenings or weekends, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills. 18+ years old and ServSafe is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Availability to work within open hours (evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Familiarity with a POS system and ServSafe certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands of a restaurant environment.
• Must be 18 years or older.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

As a Cook - Team Member at Popeyes, you play a critical role in delivering the brand promise of hot, fresh, and flavorful food in a clean, safe, and efficient environment. You are responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to Popeyes® standards, following established recipes, portion controls, and food safety guidelines. You will operate kitchen equipment safely, maintain organized and sanitary workstations, and support overall kitchen flow during peak service periods. This role requires consistency, speed, and attention to detail to ensure every guest receives high-quality food prepared with Popeyes® famous Cajun Hospitality.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements):
