Job summary

Popeyes is hiring a Cook - Team Member in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will prepare and cook menu items to Popeyes standards, ensuring quality, speed, and consistency while maintaining clean and sanitary workstations.

Role requires 18+ years old, availability for evenings and weekends, and a willingness to learn and follow food safety guidelines. The team benefits from paid training and meal benefits during shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ experience in the QSR industry.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Availability to work evenings, holidays, weekends.
• Familiarity with a POS system and ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and conflict resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands of a restaurant environment.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to Popeyes standards following established recipes.
• Follow portion controls and food safety guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain clean, sanitary workstations.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

As a Cook - Team Member at Popeyes, you play a critical role in delivering the brand promise of hot, fresh, and flavorful food in a clean, safe, and efficient environment. You are responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to Popeyes® standards, following established recipes, portion controls, and food safety guidelines. You will operate kitchen equipment safely, maintain organized and sanitary workstations, and support overall kitchen flow during peak service periods. This role requires consistency, speed, and attention to detail to ensure every guest receives high-quality food prepared with Popeyes® famous Cajun Hospitality.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements):

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry, currently preferred.
• High school diploma or GED, preferred.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Familiarity with a POS system and ServSafe certification is preferred.
