Job summary

Portillo’s in Indiana is hiring team members to greet guests, take orders, and process payments both at the counter and in drive-up/outside positions. You may take phone or catering orders to help with special events, and you will prepare food to high quality standards while keeping a clean, sanitary workspace.

Cook items like Italian beef, burgers, hot dogs, fries, and more, following recipes and Portillo’s standards. Sanitation and safety are emphasized throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Must have worked at Portillo’s for at least one year, averaging a minimum of 20 hours over six months.
• Military veterans are encouraged to apply.
• Flexibility to work nights, outside the kitchen in cold temperatures, and holidays is required.

Job Summary

Greet guests with a smile and accurately take their orders and payments. Inside and outside (drive‑up) positions are available. Take phone or catering orders to help customers plan special events. Provide completed orders by calling out numbers with a rhyme (#29, it’s time to dine!). Prepare food to high‑quality standards and maintain a clean and sanitary workspace.
