Job description

Job Summary

Greet guests with a smile, quickly and accurately take orders and payment. Inside and outside (Drive‑Up) positions are available. Take phone and catering orders to help guests plan their special events. Give out completed orders, calling out numbers with a rhyme (e.g., “#29, it’s time to dine!”). Prepare food to high‑quality standards and maintain a clean and sanitary workspace. Cook food to order—Italian Beef, burgers, hot dogs, fries, and more. Follow provided recipes and uphold Portillo’s standards. Ensure proper sanitation practices are in place and maintain a tidy workspace while creating fresh, made‑to‑order salads.

Compensation

• Base pay: $15.50 per hour.
• Additional $2 per hour for all hours worked after 11pm.
• Additional $2 per hour when working outside in temperatures below 33°F.
• Additional $3 per hour for holidays*.
