Job summary

Chuck & Don's Pet Food & Supplies in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a part-time Team Member to deliver exceptional service and promote pet health. You will handle front-end duties, share product knowledge, and help stock displays while ensuring a clean store and friendly experience for every guest.

Requirements: 18+, passion for customer service and pets, willingness to learn, flexible availability including evenings and weekends. Starting pay is $16.37 per hour DOE/DOQ, with state/locale variations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a passion for extraordinary customer service and pet well-being.
• Professional retail sales experience preferred and willingness to be educated about products and services.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and maintain effective communication.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends; strong time management and organization.

Essential Job Functions Section

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an exceptional experience.
• Share product knowledge and suggestions to fit customer needs and promote pet health.
• Perform front end duties such as handling the cash register, bagging, replenishing merchandise, and preparing displays.
• Organize and maintain a clean store front and stock room.
• Assist with other projects as needed including markdowns, re-tickets, labeling products, and special store events.
• All other assigned duties from the Store Manager and/or any member of the Retail Management Team.

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require evening and weekend shifts.

Physical Demands

• Position requires a person to be both indoors and outdoors (to assist with customer carry out).
• Must be able to stand 8 hours per day with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be comfortable working with a wide variety of animals including small and large dogs.
• Must be able to work around pet hair and dander.
