Job summary

Chuck & Don's Pet Food & Supplies in Bloomington, MN is seeking a part-time Team Member to deliver outstanding service to our pet parents. You will share product knowledge, recommend solutions for pet health, and perform front-end duties including cash handling, bagging, and merchandising.

You’ll keep the store clean and assist with store events and markdowns as needed. This role requires 18+, strong communication, willingness to learn, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Passion for extraordinary customer service and the well-being of pets.
• Professional retail sales experience preferred.
• Willingness to be educated about the products and services offered.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
• Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require evening and weekend shifts.
• Time management and organizational skills.

Essential Job Functions Section

Physical Demands

• Position requires a person to be both indoors and outdoors (to assist with customer carry out).
• Must be able to stand 8 hours per day with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be comfortable working with a wide variety of animals including small and large dogs.
• Must be able to work around pet hair and dander.

$14.00-$16.45 per hour DOE/DOQ
