Team Manager — Southbury, CT

Lead a bakery‑cafe team, ensuring high standards of food quality, service, and staff performance. Manage shifts, coach and motivate team members, support career development, and uphold Panera’s culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure every guest is delighted by the quality of food, service, and staff.
• Build engaging relationships that lead to long‑term, loyal guests.
• Lead, manage and develop team members through coaching, inspiring and motivating them to exceed sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest experience goals.
• Participate in interviewing and selection of new staff.
• Train the team in food safety standards and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Help build a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum age: 18 years.
• 1+ year of restaurant management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead shifts, motivate, coach and develop others in a fast‑paced environment.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain certification).
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and busy periods.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for up to 6 hours.
• Strong communication skills in a loud environment.
