$80,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Title: Team Leader (LCSW – Program Director)

FLSA Status: Exempt

Program: Youth Assertive Community Treatment Rockland

Hours: 35 per week

Reporting To: Director of Children’s Clinical Services

Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000 annually

After six months, a $5,000 retention bonus is available.

Program Overview

The Youth ACT Team serves children and youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) in Rockland County, providing intensive, coordinated, individualized services through a multidisciplinary team to support their success in home, school, and community settings.

Summary of Duties

The Team Leader supervises staff activities, leads meetings, provides clinical guidance, and manages client services, including direct clinical work with a small caseload. Responsibilities include staff supervision, program management, and community engagement, all aligned with recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and person-centered approaches.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee program operations, staff recruitment, training, evaluation, and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to standards and monitor case records.
  • Prepare service reports and participate in community meetings.
  • Manage clinical admissions, provide community-based clinical services, and facilitate team meetings.
  • Coordinate assessment and treatment planning, quality assurance, and policy development.
  • Build relationships with community organizations and use data to inform decisions.
  • Promote a recovery-oriented culture and oversee staff supervision and performance reviews.
Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Effective communication skills, certification in CANS-NY, and proficiency in computers.
  • Experience with crisis intervention, leadership, and trauma-informed care.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and familiar with Electronic Health Records.
Qualifications
  • Licensed LCSW or Psychologist with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership, recovery belief, flexibility, confidentiality, and computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license, NYS Defensive Driving certification, and clearance from relevant authorities.
