Wilbert's in Williamson, NY is seeking a Retail Supervisor to lead a team in a fast-paced store environment. You will oversee daily operations, motivate staff, and ensure safety and productivity.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and is non-exempt, full-time with an hourly wage. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, with prior experience in a retail or automotive setting and a high school diploma or GED.

Salary Range: $19.75 To $26.75 Hourly

Status: Non-Exempt

Description: Responsible for managing, overseeing, supporting, and motivating team members throughout the work period while promoting a safe, productive, and positive work environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, accountability, communication, and teamwork skills. This position monitors team performance, provides training and guidance, addresses employee concerns, and communicates with management to ensure smooth operations and that department goals are met.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
• Monitor team performance and report to management.
• May assist with the interview process, onboarding, and annual reviews. Provides feedback.
• Motivate team members.
• Discover training needs and provide coaching, feedback & guidance.
• Listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
• Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments. Then reporting to management for feedback.
• Communicate with employees and other team leaders to ensure smooth facility operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels and usage, and ensure department supplies are adequately stocked.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Be present & attend location safety meetings.

Language Ability

Education/Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience or knowledge in the automotive industry.
