Job summary

CoorsTek, Inc. is seeking a Team Leader, Maintenance to oversee daily maintenance activities, ensure safe and efficient operation of CNC equipment and production systems, and drive continuous improvement.

You will mentor and onboard maintenance staff, coordinate with production, engineering and quality teams, review time records, and supervise contractors while maintaining compliance with EHS policies. This role requires hands-on leadership on 4x10 hour shifts and developing preventive

Qualifications

  • 2 years of Leadership experience.
  • 3-5 years of Mechanical Maintenance experience.
  • 3 years’ experience in Commercial Facility and Grounds Upkeep.
  • Must have experience with CNC Maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of dust collection, compressed air, hydraulic and electrical maintenance.
  • Inventory management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews job orders to determine work priorities, schedules repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC equipment, manufacturing machinery, and supporting production systems.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve equipment-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinates activities of workers/contractors fabricating or modifying machines, tools or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products.
  • Directs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas or air required for operations.
  • Develops, improves and sustains preventive maintenance program in conjunction with maintenance staff.
  • Reviews production, quality control and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities
  • Directs training and indoctrination of new maintenance workers to department computer systems e.g. MFG Pro, Maintenance Tracker (Apriso Maintenance Management System), QMIS, etc. as well as all maintenance Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Responsible for supervising Maintenance Associates including monitoring, reviewing and approving employee time records in a timely manner; preparing and administering on-time delivery of employee performance reviews, enforcing attendance and work rules uniformly and recommending and participating when counseling or discipline is required
  • Confers with management, engineering and quality personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment
  • Performs minor maintenance including painting, minor plumbing and project work (carpet cleaning, floor refinishing) and minor repairs such as replacing tiles, stair treads, etc.
  • Responds to work orders associated with the cleanliness of the facility and delegates to appropriate Maintenance Associate for completion in a timely manner
  • Assists and/or performs in any and all areas as assigned
  • May work any and all shifts/days as required

Leadership & Team Coordination
  • Direct and coordinate the daily activities of Maintenance Associates to ensure maintenance objectives are achieved safely and efficiently.

Target Hiring Range

USD 34.53 - USD 42.27
