This position serves to supervise and manage the technical and personnel activities of a team of professional landscape architects, in-house consultants, CADD technicians, and entry level and intern landscape architects who manage area wide landscape projects, and to provide support for upper-level positions and other customers. The position applies landscape architecture theories, principles, and standards to provide guidance and quality assurance to team members, consultants, and other resources who manage projects of all levels of complexity from small, in-house landscape plantings to highly detailed, complex, transportation related projects and processes. For entry level and intern landscape architects, this position also provides guidance not only for technical, project related matters, but also for professional career development and educational concerns.
Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree or first professional master's degree in landscape architecture from a landscape architectural program accredited by the Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board.
Experience: Six (6) years of experience in landscape architectural design work.
Selective Qualification: Three (3) years of experience in team management, directing, or supervising work of landscape architects and/or landscape designers.
