Job summary

Wing Shack Johnstown is seeking a Front of House Team Leader to help run daily operations with energy and hospitality. You’ll lead, train, and motivate staff, ensure service standards, and uphold food quality and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include scheduling, onboarding new hires, delivering excellent guest service, managing inventory and cash handling, and stepping into the manager role when needed. Eligible candidates must be 18+, US work eligible, and have 2–3 years restaurant leadership.

Qualifications

• Oversee cash handling, deposits, and POS procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, compliant restaurant environment per guidelines.
• Step into the manager role when needed to keep operations running smoothly.

THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR TIPS IN OUR TIP POOL.

Our team averages $3.50-$6.00 per hour plus the base rate of $16.50-19.00 per hour.

About the role

Front of House Specific Duties and Experience Required. Hospitality Driven and Guest Centered!

• As a Team Leader, you’ll act as the right-hand to the management team, helping run daily operations and keeping the Wing Shack energy high. You’ll:
• Lead, train, and motivate team members to uphold Wing Shack’s standards of service, food quality, and cleanliness.
• Assist with scheduling, shift planning, and ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.
• Support the onboarding of new hires and provide ongoing coaching and development.
• Deliver excellent customer service, resolving guest concerns quickly and professionally.
• Help monitor inventory, place orders, and ensure proper food and beverage storage.
• Oversee cash handling, deposits, and accurate POS procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant restaurant environment in accordance with company, local, and federal guidelines.
• Step into the manager role when needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation plan to and from shifts as scheduled
• Availability that aligns with company and restaurant needs (nights, weekends, holidays as required)
• Able to perform all essential job functions as detailed in training and job description
• Demonstrated leadership experience in food service, hospitality, or retail preferred
• 2–3 years of restaurant experience required.
• 1-3 years of restaurant leadership required.
• Experience in both front-of-house (service) is required.

The pay range for this role is: 16.50 - 19 USD per hour (Wing Shack Johnstown)
