Qualifications

• Monitor all aspects of the department's food safety program routinely and take action to hazards.

UPMC Mercy is hiring a Full Time Team Leader, Food Services to support the Dietary and Cafeteria department!

This position will work varied shifts with rotating weekends/holidays. Shift times are: Monday-Friday 11:15am-7:45pm and Sat/Sun/Holidays 9am-5:30pm.

This is an entry level leadership role within our department and the starting rate is $19.60/hour.

Purpose:

Support the Food Service Supervisor in all aspects of the daily operation, with emphasis on the training and development of food service associates.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise hourly associates and their adherence to all UPMC policies and procedures and department standards and guidelines.
• Oversee security of inventory and cash revenues.
• Orient, train, and coach new team members as per department guidelines.
