Job summary

Bloomberg is seeking a Team Leader for AI-powered code generation products within the Data AI group. You will provide technical and operational leadership across workstreams, setting standards for correctness, reliability, and client experience while advancing automation and tooling to improve Bloomberg's code generation capabilities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading multiple AI and data/engineering projects.
• Ability to influence peers and lead via expertise.
• Strong fluency with prompts, schemas, APIs, and data structures.
• Experience evaluating generated code using metrics and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational leadership across client-facing code generation and agent workstreams.
• Establish shared practices for natural language to code and evaluation.
• Translate client needs into scalable generation and evaluation strategies.
• Define evaluation methodologies for generated code and outputs.
• Scale tooling, data pipelines, annotation workflows and evaluation frameworks.
• Serve as escalation point and resolve cross-workstream dependencies.
