Job description

This is a 3rd Shift role, with work hours from Sunday to Thursday, 9:30 pm to 6:00 am Eastern Time.

SUMMARY

Responsible for leading a team of Associates and managing workflow across all aspects of the production process for Case Molding and Component Molding. Operates all machinery, provides training, and directs team members in proper and safe practices. Cross-training across all manufacturing departments is expected, with rotations based on business needs.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide leadership and guidance: Set clear expectations, assign tasks, and monitor performance to meet production goals.
2. Ensure timely manufacturing: Oversee setup, operation, and changeovers; address issues promptly to minimize downtime.
3. Training and coaching: Enhance team skills, promote cross-training, and maintain accurate production records. Prepare reports as needed.
4. Process improvement: Identify opportunities and collaborate to implement efficiency enhancements.
5. Quality control: Enforce standards, conduct checks, and take corrective actions as necessary.
6. Material monitoring: Oversee raw material levels and coordinate replenishment.
7. Performance monitoring: Provide feedback, coaching, and support performance reviews. Communicate concerns promptly.
8. Backup support: Serve as backup in different departments to ensure seamless operations.
9. Cross-training: Acquire skills for technical functions like start-ups, material changes, and troubleshooting.
10. Additional duties: Perform any other assigned tasks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Knowledge of manufacturing processes; advanced knowledge is a plus.
3. Cross-trained and capable across all manufacturing departments.
4. Experience and willingness to cross-train in technical and operational functions.
