Job summary

ABB in the United States seeks a Shipping Supervisor to lead the logistics team in North Carolina. You will model accountability, schedule and track orders, and ensure accuracy of product, packaging, and order records.

You will work with cross-functional teams, train staff, apply lean principles, and drive continuous improvement while adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, or logistics.
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of lean/continuous improvement.
  • Basic computer skills including SAP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Record product, packaging, and order information accurately.
  • Use equipment to track and verify products for distribution.
  • Coordinate with teams to meet customer orders promptly.
  • Coach and train team members on tasks and processes.
  • Adhere to environmental and safety regulations in operations.
  • Plan and organize own work and the work of others as needed.
