Job summary

ABB is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead distribution teams with a focus on safety, quality and productivity. The role requires hands-on leadership to direct daily activities and ensure accurate, timely movement of goods.

Responsibilities include performing process audits, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with procedures while coordinating with internal/external customers. Candidates should have 2+ years in distribution, WMS knowledge, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a fast-paced distribution environment with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• WMS knowledge preferred and proficiency in basic computer skills and warehouse systems.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs, work at heights, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

• Lead communicates and directs distribution associates through daily activities focusing on safety, quality, productivity and housekeeping.
• Perform process audits to ensure compliance to documented procedures.
• Hands-on participation with high floor presence to direct flow and maximize efficiency.
• Capture daily performance activity to determine effective methods to increase performance.
• Monitor system and communications with internal/external customers to ensure timely work completion.
• Attend and assist with pre-shift meetings to discuss safety, plans and staffing needs.
• Provide feedback to supervisor regarding associate performance and attendance.
• Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE.
• Other duties as requested by management.
