Job summary

Harry- is seeking a Team Lead to oversee line staff, train and supervise, ensuring quality and accuracy of work. You will verify duties, assign personnel to teams, track timekeeping and maintain records.

Responsibilities include coaching, documenting activities, promoting continuous improvement, and ensuring safety and compliance with attendance standards in a production environment with potential exposure to dust and temperature variations. Weekend/overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds and work in a production environment with dust, fumes, and varying temperatures.
• Flexibility to handle changing job assignments, weekends, and overtime as production needs require.
• Follow Production Safety, Dress Code and Sanitation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coaches, counsels, and writes PIA’s; interacts with Human Resources/Employee Relations.
• Assigns personnel to work teams and tasks to meet production goals.
• Ensure standards of efficiency, quality, and record accuracy (production paperwork, fruit usage, reject paperwork).
• Ensure production is performed accurately, timely, and efficiently.
• Verify employee documents and timekeeping.
• Promote continuous process improvement and waste reduction.
• Comply with company attendance standards.

Job description

The Team Lead is responsible for training, supervision and accuracy of the work being performed by the line staff and for their gift quality and accuracy of the work being performed. Additional responsibilities include training of processes and procedures, assigning personnel to teams and tasks, accurate and timely record keeping, documentation of employee activities and time keeping.

• Train and verify team leader and other personnel duties and tasks.
• Coaches, counsels, and writes PIA’s. Some direct contact with Human Resources/ Employee Relations.
• Assigns personnel to work teams and /or tasks.
• Achieves standards of efficiency, quality, and record accuracy to include production paperwork, fruit usage, reject paperwork.
• Assures production is performed accurately, timely and efficiently.
• Verifies employee documents and timekeeping.
• Use Basic Principles and confidentiality when dealing with coworkers.
• Reports unsafe or unusual condition of equipment, materials, and product to Supervisor.
• Promotes continuous process improvement and waste reduction.
• Compliance with company attendance standards.

Requirements

• This position requires a push or pull up to 50 pounds, and the ability to withstand a production environment with exposure to dust, occasional fumes and varying production and cold storage.
• Work performed will be in a production environment with possible exposure to food allergens, dust, varying temperatures, loud noise level and occasional fumes and chemicals.
• This position requires flexibility regarding job assignments as days, hours and support tasks may vary depending on production needs. Weekends and overtime may also be required.
• Follow Production Safety, Dress Code and Sanitation requirements.
