Job summary

McLane Company, Inc in United States-Texas-Lubbock is seeking a Team Leader for our warehouse operations. You will lead floor activities, verify quantities, and coordinate daily labor to maintain productivity and safety.

The role requires at least 1 year of warehouse experience and supervisory exposure; good English reading/writing and basic computer skills are essential. The shift runs 12:00–20:30, with full-time hours and competitive benefits starting after 60 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of distribution warehouse experience.
• Ability to operate reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Basic computer skills and English literacy.

Responsibilities

• Verify and record quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product; research out-of-stocks, shortages, and replenishment issues.
• Select, pull, sort, and stack product using power equipment or by hand.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Coordinate warehouse labor (e.g., start of shift, vacation, and sick calls).
• This position has additional duties; special projects may be assigned.

The Team Leader promotes and maintains warehouse productivity and efficiencies by working as a direct floor leader.

• Pay Rate: $21.25 per hour.
• Start time 12pm - 8:30pm

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
• Supervisory experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
