Job summary

Carol Woods in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a dedicated food service assistant to support dining operations and ensure prompt, sanitary service to residents.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to provide meals, maintain clean work areas, and assist the Dining manager with daily tasks and compliance efforts.

Qualifications

• Provide all necessary food service to all dining rooms areas.
• Assist with serving resident meals as part of interdisciplinary team.
• Uses proper food handling processes, procedures and policies.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area in accordance with guidelines and completes daily/weekly tasks as assigned.
• Assist HL Dining manager with compliance of daily tasks assigned to team, all other duties as assigned.
• Complete daily management tasks as assigned.
• Food Service experience preferred, High school degree or equivalent.
• Fills open rolls as needed, standing and walking most of the time, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds.
• Complies with State and Federal regulation guidelines and procedures foodservice compliance programs.

To support the tasks of food handling to and from the kitchen to resident areas. As well as maintaining clean and sanitized, orderly areas of service. To provide prompt and accurate service to residents.
