Arvato is seeking a Team Lead to manage daily Shipping department operations in a fast-paced distribution center. You will oversee paperwork, track performance, and uphold safety, organization, and cleanliness in the shipping area.

The role requires proven shipping experience, strong leadership, problem-solving ability, and proficiency with MS Office. Availability for overtime, holidays, weekends, and shift flexibility is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven shipping/receiving experience in a fast-paced DC environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and the ability to manage a team.
• Ability to solve problems, plan, and stay organized under pressure.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Shipping department.
• Track performance and attendance for shipping personnel.
• Ensure safety, organization, and cleanliness in the area.
• Support process improvements and enforce 7s standards.
• Manage overtime, holidays, weekends, and varying shifts as needed.
• Handle all paperwork related to received merchandise.

Job Description

The Team Lead will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Shipping department. Including all product initially received through the warehouse and the handling of all paperwork pertaining to that merchandise. Tracks performance and attendance for all personnel assigned to the shipping area. This position is also responsible for safety, organization and cleanliness.

Qualifications

Demonstrated Shipping experience in a fast paced distribution center environment

Proven leadership experience

Problemsolving, decision making, planning and organizational skills

Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Safety knowledge

Able to perform at a fast-paced packaging environment

Perform accurately under stressful conditions.

Performing variety of duties as required

Flexibility isa must: Must be able to work overtime, holidays, weekends, different shifts, and different areas of the warehouse

The ability to follow instructions, processes, and procedures.

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Forklift certified a plus

Previousexperience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment

Knowledge of SAP pertaining to warehouse activities

Able to stand/walk for long periodsof time

Requires ability to stand/reach/stoop/bend

ManufacturingEnvironment/Warehouse Setting

Stand, bend, stoop, lift, and walk majority of your shift

Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
