Job summary

Follett Higher Education is seeking a Team Lead to work with Department/Store Manager to receive, price, and stock merchandise and drive sales. The role includes leading the team, ensuring training and ongoing compliance, and acting as the leader on duty in the Store Manager's absence.

Primary duties involve opening/closing the store, addressing customer and staff concerns, and maintaining safety of people and property. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Able to consistently walk and stand, lift 25-50 pounds, and move merchandise using proper equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to create and save text documents and to create and send emails.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead on duty, respond to customer and team member concerns in the absence of the Store Manager, opening and closing the store, and ensuring all bookstore property and team members are safe and secure.
• Assist Team Members with completing the work within the store.
