Job summary

Follett Higher Education is seeking a Team Lead to work with Department Managers to receive, price, and stock merchandise, ensuring customer needs are met and sales profit is driven. The role also involves guiding team members through tasks and ongoing compliance training.

The Team Lead serves as the leader on duty, handling customer and staff concerns in the absence of the Store Manager, and is responsible for opening/closing the store and maintaining safety of people and property.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Able to consistently walk and stand, lift 25-50 pounds, and move merchandise using proper equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to create and save text documents and to create and send emails.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead on duty, respond to customer and team member concerns in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist Team Members with completing tasks and ensuring training/compliance.
• Open and close the store and ensure safety of all bookstore property and team members.
