Job summary

Enterprise Center is seeking a part-time, hourly leader to support Guest Experience and Public Safety operations. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service while maintaining safety at events and shows.

The GE Team Leader–Building External works with Public Safety Managers, contributing to staff training, policy development and incident reporting while maintaining a positive, safe environment during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• College degree or 2 years in a multipurpose Arena/Stadium environment.
• Strong observation skills and desire to be proactive addressing guest needs and staff concerns.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support for Public Safety Manager on Duty.
• Maintain an exemplary level of customer service at all touchpoints.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Assist management with developing and maintaining a well-informed dependable staff.
• Assist managers in building an effective training program for the Guest Experience staff.
• Assist with Guest Experience/Public Safety policy and procedure development and compliance.
• Assist Internal Team Lead’s with gate set up for ingress.
• Assist STLPD with street closures and traffic control by placing and programming traffic signs.
• Guide building K9 sweeps prior to and during events.
• Maintain a presence outside of the venue; assist ingress/egress crowd control and help guests feel safe.
• Generate event reports logging vehicle and pedestrian traffic around the venue.
• Monitor radio traffic and respond to medical/security incidents as requested.
• Complete thorough and accurate reports on any medical/security incidents responded to
• Position requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Must be a self-starter who is able to work long irregular hours
• Other duties as assigned

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic leaders to join our team. Our ideal candidate is an individual that has a passion for people and event operations. This is a part time, hourly, event-based role that is an integral part of the Guest Experience and Public Safety leadership team.

The GE Team Leader – Building External provides support to Public Safety Managers for Enterprise Center & Stifel Theatre. They are also responsible for maintaining a positive work environment, exemplary service standards, and ensuring positive guest experiences. This position shares management responsibilities with the Public Safety Managers and must demonstrate flexibility while working quickly, efficiently, and enthusiastically in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• College degree or at least 2 years in a multipurpose Arena/Stadium environment

• Ability to work with a diverse population
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of computer programs i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Must be available for 50% of all events for the facility each month
• Maintain a valid St. Louis County Security License

PAY RATE: $22.00/HOUR
