Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Team Lead for Rehabilitation Services at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. This on-site leadership role oversees the rehabilitation team, sets goals, and coordinates workflow to deliver high-quality patient care.

The position requires clinical expertise, supervision of staff, and collaboration with the Rehab Program leadership. The ideal candidate holds a doctoral, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in a rehab discipline and at least five years of related

• Minimum of five years of related work experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Current Massachusetts license in the applicable rehab field.
• Vaccination: influenza and COVID-19 or an approved exemption with a signed statement.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Manager, Rehabilitation Services, provide direction to assigned staff to meet department objectives.
• Coordinate daily department workflow with team members and other team leaders to ensure safe, effective operations.
• Support the Rehabilitation Program through leadership and strategic planning.

We are searching for a talented Team Lead-Rehabilitation Services

Hours: 40hrs

Shift:Day shift with on call rotation for weekends and holidays remotely; shift varies

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Under the direction of the Manager, Rehabilitation Services or Designee, perform diversified duties both within the Rehabilitation team and in support of the Rehabilitation Program. Provide direction to assigned staff to meet department objectives and responsible for the formulation, implementation and monitoring of goals for assigned areas of responsibility in collaboration with Manager. Coordinate daily department workflow with all team members and other team leaders to ensure safe, effective, and efficient work processing.

• A Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral Degree in a Rehab discipline such as PT, OT, SLP or Audiology is required.
• A minimum of five years of related work experience is required.
• Basic working knowledge of the use of a PC required.
• CPR certification required.
• Current Massachusetts License in the individual area of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Audiology.

• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
