The role emphasizes leadership, governance, and deep knowledge of private markets operations, with travel to Switzerland and other offices as needed.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in private equity/private credit fund control, fund accounting, or private markets operations within a U.S. asset manager, investment adviser, or administrator.
  • Experience with SEC-registered investment adviser framework or similar governance environment beneficial.
  • 5+ years in a team lead or management capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day investment controlling activities, ensuring accurate NAV, performance, and investor reporting.
  • Review and sign off work by team members and guide through complex transactions, valuations, and cashflow activity.
  • Act as escalation point for issues with administrators, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate process improvements to streamline workflows and support automation across Private Markets Ops.
  • Partner with technology and cross-functional teams to drive system enhancements and scalability.
  • Coach and develop team members and set clear priorities for high-quality delivery.
  • Support strategic projects such as platform upgrades or changes in accounting/valuation frameworks.

The role blends people leadership with strong investment controlling expertise and a focus on driving change across the platform.
