LGT Capital Partners Ltd. in New York is seeking a hands-on Team Lead for Private Markets Fund Operations. You will lead a small team (3–4) focused on investment controlling, NAV accuracy, and investor reporting, while guiding complex transactions and collaborating with stakeholders to drive platform improvements.

The role emphasizes leadership, governance, and deep knowledge of private markets operations, with travel to Switzerland and other offices as needed.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in private equity/private credit fund control, fund accounting, or private markets operations within a U.S. asset manager, investment adviser, or administrator.
• Experience with SEC-registered investment adviser framework or similar governance environment beneficial.
• 5+ years in a team lead or management capacity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day investment controlling activities, ensuring accurate NAV, performance, and investor reporting.
• Review and sign off work by team members and guide through complex transactions, valuations, and cashflow activity.
• Act as escalation point for issues with administrators, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate process improvements to streamline workflows and support automation across Private Markets Ops.
• Partner with technology and cross-functional teams to drive system enhancements and scalability.
• Coach and develop team members and set clear priorities for high-quality delivery.
• Support strategic projects such as platform upgrades or changes in accounting/valuation frameworks.
