Qualifications

  • Certified or registered Medical Assistant (AAMA/AMT/ARMA/NCCT).
  • Experience as Medical Assistant with understanding of clinical workflows.
  • Effective communicator with providers and staff.
  • Adaptable across locations and able to maintain a flexible schedule.

Team Lead, Medical Assistant-Registered

In this role, you'll perform Medical Assistant duties while helping onboard, train, and mentor new team members to ensure consistent clinic workflows, patient care practices, and adherence to organizational standards.

What you’ll do

Who you are
  • Certified or registered through one of the following organizations: American Academy of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
  • Experienced as a Medical Assistant with a strong understanding of clinical workflows and patient care practices.
  • An effective communicator who works well with providers, clinical staff, and new team members.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in different locations, managing changing priorities, and maintaining a flexible schedule.
  • Committed to continuous learning and supporting the mission and values of WakeMed.
