WakeMed Health & Hospitals is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care under physician supervision. The role requires certification from AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or equivalent and a high school diploma or equivalent.
The CMA will work within WakeMed's care team, supporting patient comfort and needs while aligning with the practice's mission and values.
Works interdependently with other medical professionals to provide quality health care to the patient. Provides direct patient care under the direction of a physician by performing specific services in caring for the personal needs and comforts of the patient. Understands the needs of the practice and supports the mission and values. The required certification must be one of the following: American Academy of Medical Assistants, American Medical Technologists, American Registry of Medical Assistants and the National Center for Competency Testing.
