Job summary

CMA CGM Group is seeking a Material Handler III / Operations Team Lead for the 3rd shift in Whitsett, NC. You will guide the team in daily tasks, ensure safe practices, manage loading/unloading, and maintain orderly warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include organizing workflows, coordinating with the supervisor, and ensuring accurate labeling, packing, and timely task completion. A strong warehousing background and forklift certification readiness are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; typically 5+ years warehousing or logistics experience.
• Forklift certification typically required within 3–6 months of hire; valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and basic warehouse equipment; readiness to certify forklift if needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead for daily team assignments and activities.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure quality standards.
• Organize loading/unloading and move materials to designated areas.
• Assist in receiving cargo and assembling customer orders for packing/shipping.
