Caterpillar Inc. in Denison, Texas is seeking a Production Manager to lead a complex manufacturing line with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You will coordinate people, schedules, and resources to deliver high‑quality products efficiently.

You will combine hands-on leadership with data‑driven decision making, coaching your team, and partnering with cross‑functional colleagues to improve safety, productivity, and communication across the operation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lead a complex manufacturing line and meet safety, quality and productivity targets.
• Experience applying lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or structured problem solving methods is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to report on performance and coordinate cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of employees on a complex manufacturing production line.
• Assign work, set priorities, and coordinate inter‑team activities for safe and efficient operations.
• Manage production schedules and identify bottlenecks, resource conflicts, and disruptions.
• Monitor compliance with procedures, safety expectations, and quality standards, taking prompt corrective actions.
• Maintain production records and reports on processes, tooling, performance, inventory, safety, productivity, and quality.
• Investigate issues, identify alternatives, and recommend improvement actions.
• Maintain and update operating procedures and safety/quality documentation.
• Train and support new staff; develop current team members’ capabilities.
• Coach employees with clear goals, feedback, and recognition.
• Address scheduling and workplace conflicts while promoting open communication and continuous improvement.
