Quanex is seeking a Team Lead – 1st Shift for its on-site operations in St. Cloud, Minnesota. You will guide the sanding, packaging, and shipping teams, drive process improvements, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of manufacturing experience and 1+ years of training or leading others, with a high school diploma or equivalent. Competitive hourly pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required.
• 3 - 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• 1+ years of training and/or leading others preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvements and support operational excellence.
• Collaborate with sanding, packaging, and shipping teams to meet quality standards.
• Coach and train team members and promote a safety-first culture.
• Coordinate and lead the implementation of improvements within their department.
• Conduct regular 5S audits to ensure tools and organization are maintained.
