Job summary

CoxHealth in Missouri is seeking an Accounts Receivable Follow Up Specialist within the Patient Financial Services team. You will work on AR for assigned payers and clinics to ensure timely reimbursement and process insurance credits for Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid.

You will deliver customer service to clinic staff, insurance companies, and patients. Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent, and at least 2 years of customer service experience; knowledge of medical terminology and

Job Description

Responsible for working, researching and following up on accounts receivable for assigned payers and assigned clinics to insure timely reimbursement. This would include processing insurance credits for Managed C are, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.

Responsible for providing customer service to clinic personnel, insurance companies and our patients.

Education

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

• Required: 2 years customer service experience
• Preferred: Previous Insurance Follow Up and Medical Coding experience
