Job summary

Jefferson Regional Main Hospital in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking a Team Lead - EVS (part-time, weekends and holidays) to supervise Environmental Services Technicians in patient rooms, ancillary areas, and public facilities.

The Team Lead ensures day-to-day assignments and callbacks are completed, mentors and trains staff, and coordinates scheduling, inventory, and reporting within the Environmental Services Department to maintain high cleanliness standards in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• This is a safety sensitive position.
• At least 1 year of cleaning experience in a hospital.
• Must be familiar with and understand all functions that are delegated to ES Tech I, II, and Floor care Specialist positions.
• Capability to motivate, mentor, and train staff.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
• Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting, ideally in environmental services or other related field preferred.
• Proven experience in supervisory or management role, overseeing staff and operations.
• Proficiency in housekeeping equipment and cleaning products preferred.
• Familiarity with relevant software for managing schedules, inventory, and reporting preferred.
