Job summary

Jefferson Regional Med Ctr in Pine Bluff, AR seeks a Team Lead - Environmental Services for 2nd shift to supervise Environmental Technicians and manage daily tasks in patient rooms, ancillary areas and public facilities.

This safety-sensitive role requires leadership, training ability, and proven hospital housekeeping experience. The position offers a 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. schedule with opportunities to improve operations and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least 1 year of cleaning experience in a hospital
• Must be familiar with and understand all functions that are delegated to ES Tech I, II, and Floor care Specialist positions
• Capability to motivate, mentor, and train staff
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
• Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting, ideally in environmental services or other related field preferred
• Proven experience in supervisory or management role, overseeing staff and operations
• Proficiency in housekeeping equipment and cleaning products preferred
• Familiarity with relevant software for managing schedules, inventory, and reporting preferred
