Position Overview:

The Employee Benefits Digital Team Leader role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team, drive innovative digital strategies, and make a significant impact on client success and business growth. The Digital Team Leader oversees a digital employee benefits Account Management team to achieve strategic goals and improve customer experience through digital client service delivery and engagement. Responsibilities include managing a book of business using digital strategies, technology, and AI for a competitive advantage, and executing data-driven marketing campaigns. The role also involves client relationship management, promoting solutions and services, and fostering innovation to deliver value.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse digital Account Management team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
    • Oversee client blocks, achieving retention, growth, and satisfaction targets.
    • Support resolution of customer escalations.
    • Set goals, provide feedback, and develop team members.
    • Conduct performance reviews and develop improvement plans.
    • Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members.
    • Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
    • Report operational metrics to leadership.
    • Coordinate training on systems and procedures.
  2. Digital Strategy Management:
    • Implement data-driven digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
    • Lead account development and digital solutions.
    • Focus on small employee benefit accounts to maximize growth.
    • Promote technology and AI tool adoption among staff and clients.
    • Support operational initiatives for growth and retention.
  3. Technology and AI Utilization:
    • Use technology and AI to optimize marketing efforts and maintain industry innovation.
    • Stay updated on trends and technologies to incorporate into strategies.
    • Use insights to shape digital strategies and ensure competitive advantage.
  4. Campaign Execution and Optimization:
    • Ensure effective execution of marketing campaigns, monitor performance, and adjust as needed.
  5. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain proactive client relationships using data insights.
    • Ensure team provides excellent service with proper tools, workflows, and quality checks.
  6. Innovation and Value Creation:
    • Encourage innovation within the digital team, fostering creative solutions.
    • Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field. Must hold applicable health and welfare insurance license.
Experience:
  • At least 3 years in leading service delivery, sales, or account management roles.
  • Proven success in managing growth, customer satisfaction, and team development, with knowledge of employee benefits, digital tools, and self-service capabilities.
Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in agency management software, especially EPIC, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent organizational, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative problem-solving and passion for innovation.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000 annually
