Job summary

CAVA is seeking a Team Leader to supervise daily operations in our restaurant, support an energetic guest experience, and lead Team Members under the guidance of the General Manager. You will help manage training, food safety, inventory, and cash-handling tasks while maintaining standards and hospitality across shifts.

The role emphasizes teamwork, constructive coaching, and a commitment to delivering consistent quality and service in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Work closely with Managers and Team Members to bring the spirit of hospitality to our guests and create quality food
• Coach, develop, and support the cross training of Team Members as our business continues to grow
• Support the overall restaurant experience and execute key duties including but not limited to opening and closing the restaurant, placing food orders, conducting inventory, and cash handling as needed
• Support food safety initiatives and ensure that other Team Members follow proper food safety practices and cleanliness standards
• Model sound decision making and help resolve issues that may arise
• Support deployment practices on your scheduled shift to ensure heightened levels of service interactions with guests, as well as prompt presentation of food orders

Responsibilities

• Lead the team daily and promote a positive work environment alongside Assistant General Managers and General Managers
• Delegate routines and important tasks while ensuring standards are executed
• Support training and development of other Team Members
• Open and close the restaurant and perform duties such as placing orders, inventory checks, and cash handling
• Uphold food safety and cleanliness standards and assist in issue resolution
• Collaborate with teams to ensure timely service and accurate presentation of food orders
