Job summary

Learning Care Group in California seeks a Team Lead to guide early childhood classrooms and promote childhood development. You will manage daily activities, mentor staff, and coordinate with families to support each child’s growth while ensuring licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation; ensure daily care per licensing guidelines.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement and support center success.
• Mentor and train new hires and fellow Teachers, creating engaging learning experiences.
• Take on Director or Assistant Director duties in absence, including opening and closing the school.
