Job summary
One Vision seeks a Full-Time Team Lead based in Ventura, IA to guide a team of Direct Support Professionals delivering person-centered services. You will coach staff, provide ongoing training, and support daily living activities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The role emphasizes leadership, compliance with standards, and collaboration with leadership to improve services, including on-call staffing. A valid driver’s license and Mandt training are preferred.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years supporting individuals with IDD.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Medication Manager Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance; comfortable using tech for documentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support a team of Direct Support Professionals.
- Provide ongoing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Assist individuals with daily living activities and budgeting.
- Monitor documentation and ensure compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve services and operations.
- Participate in on-call rotation and staffing as needed.
