About the role

As a Team Lead DevOps, you will play a crucial role in driving technical innovation and ensuring operational excellence.

• Team Management: Lead and mentor the Linux Admin/DevOps team (including recruiting, 1-on-1 meetings, and code reviews).
• Infrastructure Development: Develop and improve robust, scalable, and innovative infrastructure solutions.
• Architecture & Technical Design: Work closely with development teams to design effective architectures and technical solutions.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Training & Development: Organize and conduct training sessions to support the professional growth of the team.
• Administration & Code Review: Oversee administrative tasks and conduct code reviews.
• Incident Management: Analyze and resolve incidents, conduct post-mortem meetings, and develop preventative measures to mitigate future issues.

Qualifications

You have:

At least 5 years of experience in IT and 1+ year in a leadership role.

Highly preferred:

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and ClickHouse.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, LXC).
• Expertise in configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration, including cluster management, deployment strategies, and scaling applications.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Will be a plus:

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and scripting skills in Python or Bash.
