Job summary

Cemen Tech, Inc. in Indianola, IA, a world leader in volumetric concrete technology, is looking for an Assembly Technician who will perform direct labor while leading the team to meet daily production goals. The role requires coordinating work, coaching safety, and maintaining production records.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of related experience and familiarity with cranes, forklifts, power and hand tools, and standard office software. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience.
• Must be knowledgeable of work area and safe use of tools/equipment.
• Experience with tablets and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Proactively recognize and coach safety issues; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate team quality of work and adherence to procedures.
• Ensure non-conforming material is handled per procedures.
• Coordinate daily production goals with Team Leads and Operations Staff.
• Lead a daily 5-minute startup meeting to review goals, assignments, safety briefings.
• Be the go-to leader for parts and engineering questions.
• Ensure documentation is maintained (drawings, work orders, logs).
• Provide input to team members' performance evaluations.
