Job summary

Cemen Tech, Inc. in Indianola, IA is seeking a Material Handler/Saw Operator to support production by handling, cutting, and preparing steel materials safely and efficiently. The position requires welding knowledge, ability to read tape measures, and experience with MIG/TIG welding, overhead crane, and forklift operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Welding knowledge through experience or vocational training.
• Ability to pass a preliminary weld test.
• 1–2 years welding, cutting, and/or fabricating metal parts.
• Experience in wire feed welding, MIG or TIG welding.
• Knowledge of overhead crane and forklift operation.

Responsibilities

• Handle and process steel materials according to production requirements.
• Operate saw equipment to cut steel to specified dimensions.
• Punch and drill holes in steel components as required.
• Read and use a tape measure to ensure measurements.
• Utilize common shop tools safely and effectively.
• Load and unload materials using a forklift.
• Organize and stage materials for production use.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
