Summary
The purpose of the Team Lead 3rd Shift role is to provide guidance and support to production associates in the MagStop Value Stream. The person in this role is a 'working leader' spending 40% of their time operating within a team-based manufacturing cell. Their success is vital to continuous improvement and meeting customer expectations.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty above standard expectations and maintain a 'certified' trainer status in the area. Requirements include attending external courses on supervision/leadership, ensuring safety, quality, and standard work adherence, cross-training, and effective communication. Education requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, with previous experience and post-secondary education preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Attend leadership training courses annually.
- Spend limited time on alternate shifts for training.
- Maintain 5S standards and update Daily Management boards.
- Ensure safety and retrain associates as needed.
- Lead quality concerns and conduct training sessions.
- Champion standard work methodology.
- Assist in training new associates.
- Lead by example and coach associates.
- Cross-train on multiple teams/part numbers.
- Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with team members and pass relevant information between shifts.
- Subject to overtime scheduling and other duties as required.
