Description
Majors Plastics Inc, a 100% employee-owned plastics molding company, is seeking a Production Assembly Supervisor. The supervisor will oversee the shift and its personnel effectively and efficiently, maintaining high productivity and meeting customer quality standards.
Position Responsibilities
- Supervise production, training, and quality of employees.
- Maintain quality and calibration of assembly equipment.
- Ensure ergonomic and efficient workstations for optimal process speed.
- Identify housekeeping opportunities and implement corrections.
- Report machine issues promptly and process work orders.
- Complete accurate reports timely.
- Maintain records of operator hours, production, and rework for daily reporting.
- Manage product transfers electronically and physically from warehouse to assembly.
- Maintain proper inventory levels of purchased and molded parts.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Oversee safety procedures and programs for the shift.
- Conduct daily shift kickoff meetings.
- Input daily production and reject data into the computer.
- Assist supervisors in verifying MPS accuracy and processing change requests.

- Active participation in problem-solving activities.

- Minimum of 4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, with some weekends required. Training occurs on 1st shift, with potential transition to 2nd or 3rd shift.
1st shift: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
2nd shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm
3rd shift: 10:30 pm - 7:00 am
