Dover Food Retail (DFR) in Virginia seeks an Assembly Line Operator to set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment along the line. The role includes moving, packing, sorting materials, and monitoring output quality while keeping daily production records.

Experience with manufacturing procedures and vocational/technical education is preferred. Compensation is USD 24.00–28.00 per hour.

Accountable for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly line machinery/equipment at fixed workstation positions including: Operating machinery/equipment to install a piece/part/component of an in-process product, assembly, or sub-assembly as it moves along the assembly line. Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods. Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products. Maintaining accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis. A Support 4 requires advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education. Responsibilities typical include: Working under limited supervision for non-routine situations and may be responsible for leading daily operations.. Training, delegating and reviewing the work of lower level employees..
