Job summary

Hillphoenix, part of Dover Food Retail, is seeking a manufacturing associate to set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot assembly line machinery at fixed workstation positions in our Chesterfield Court House, VA facility. The role involves installing components, moving materials, and ensuring output quality throughout production.

You will maintain daily production records, support continuous improvement, and potentially supervise less experienced teammates under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing assembly line machinery/equipment at fixed workstation positions.
• Operate machinery/equipment to install a piece/part/component of an in-process product, assembly, or sub‑assembly as it moves along the assembly line.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re‑manufacture faulty products.
• Maintain accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis.
• Advance knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education.
• Working under limited supervision for non‑routine situations and may be responsible for leading daily operations.
• Training, delegating and reviewing the work of lower level employees.
• Problems are typically difficult and non‑routine but not complex.
